Seeking to put God’s love into action, Habitat for Humanity brings people together to build homes, communities, and hope.
Founded in 1996, Perry County Indiana Habitat for Humanity makes home ownership attainable for people who need a little help clearing some hurdles to reach that goal. We are both builder and lender. We build houses in partnership with people and then sell the houses to them utilizing a 0% interest loan that we provide.
Our homes are built with volunteer labor, and also friendly contractors/vendors who offer skilled labor and material at discounted prices.
Perry County Indiana Habitat for Humanity has an open door policy: All who believe that everyone needs a decent, affordable place to live are welcome to help with the work, regardless of race, religion, age, sexuality, gender, political views, or any other distinctions
that divide people. As a matter of policy, Perry County Indiana Habitat of Humanity International does not proselytize.
